Plus, I’m getting ready to head to Iowa for some giant whitetails!
I’ll fill you in soon.

We got up early today. After grabbing a quick breakfast, we drove over to the airport. For $370 at Skagway Air, we purchased 2 round trip tickets from Juneau to Skagway. At 8:30 am our plane departed for Skagway and about 45 minutes later we were on the ground again.

My pictures from our 11th day in Alaska.
We started the day with breakfast at DocWaters Pub, which is in The Wharf building, directly across from our hotel (Goldbelt Hotel in Downtown Juneau). The food was OK. They ‘didn’t have’ the first couple things I ordered so I kept trying until ‘the cook’ wanted to make what […]

Check my Alaska pictures from June 2!
Caleb and I awoke earlier than Chad. We just stayed in our bunks and read. I felt the boat moving (from footsteps) and knew that it wasn’t from Chad – as I could see him sleeping peacefully. What’s up?
Chris Crowe, our neighbor from the Salmon project, opened the cabin […]

Don’t forget my amazing photos from today!
Big bear down! Today I was offered a chance at redemption and seized it. Here is the story.
We awoke to absolutely beautiful weather. Clear skies and in the low 70s. I actually was able to wear shorts and a t-shirt. I was still aware of the fact that I […]

Caleb and I awoke at 7:00am. It gets daylight at about 4:00 am which means there is only about 5-6 hours of dark. We went outside, relieved ourselves, and headed back to our bunks to await Chad’s waking. Chad awoke at about 10:00 am (he is on Alaska time) and […]
