What I did Today to Prepare:
I shot my bow yet some more! I shot mainly my practice broadheads and did very minor tweaking of my sight. I’m dialed in! Wonder what will happen when my heart is racing though?
I went through my list of stuff to take and through all cases. I then unloaded all the cases and seperated Caleb’s clothes from mine. I then seperated into 3 seperate groups with a complete outifts for both Caleb and I into each group - basically 3 equal groupings of our belongings. This will allow us BOTH to still have clothes, even if one or two bags get lost. If all the bags get lost, we are screwed. If the bow case gets lost, I’m really, really screwed.
Checking and re-checking that we have everything. Cash, Hunter Safety Card, ID, Passport for Caleb, accessories for the cameras, my bow trigger!, itenerary and confirmation numbers, our guides telephone number, etc.
Alaska, here we come!
