Great Bear Hunting Archery Video

In preparation for my Alaska Black Bear hunt, I’ve been scouring the Internet for anything that might help me prepare for my trip. I found a pretty good black bear series by Kevin Paulson on his huntinglife blog. He is doing a day by day diary of sorts on what happens on his Saskatchewan black bear hunt, which is taking place RIGHT NOW.
On the second day of hunting Kevin reported that he shot at and non-fatally hit a big black bear. Kevin, with this single post earned my respect. Hunters (and fishermen) are notorious for toting their successes. Many love to berate a fellow hunter for making a mistake. The truth is we all make mistakes and yes we are all capable of missing! Kevin made a mistake and be honestly and candidly sharing that experience, he will not only make himself a better hunter, but will help educate anyone that reads his blog.
Not just content with telling about his encounter (and mistake), Kevin actually posted a video of his black bear shot on youtube and linked to it from his post. It is worth reading Kevin’s post and taking a look at his video.
