Game Log: November 16 (Evening) - West of Retention

Matt’s Fall
Location: West of Retention Near Old Wooden Stand
Temperature: High 50’s
Wind: Swirling Everywhere and gusting 5-15+ mph
Time: 3:15 to 5:40 pm
Field Notes: Quiet. I didn’t see anything about 125 yards East of old wood stand overlooking bottom.
Other Notes: Matt climbed old wooden stand (I strongly advised him not to as the stand was probably 15-20 years old and rotten and he wasn’t wearing a harness). I heard the stand come crashing down (about 15 feet) around 5:10. He texted me that he was shaken up but Ok (although he was sore and bruised later). 10 minutes later I heard him shoot. Apparently 4 does came right to the crashed stand to investigate the source of the noise. Apparently he was too shaken up from the fall to be able to shoot accurately!
