The Hunters (Including Me) Are In The Woods!

I’ve received a couple emails lately asking where I’ve been. Apparently, a few people have noticed that I’ve missed a few days posting on the ole blog lately and I haven’t been commenting near as much on the blogs of my outdoor blogging buddies.

The reason for all this is simple. I’ve been hunting. It is deer season! Right now the big bucks are supposed to be getting frisky and the chances of seeing one are really high - as long as you are in the woods. So, I’m spending every spare moment in the woods!

Firearms season starts this Saturday in Missouri. I’m trying to fill my Buck tag before firearms season starts. Unfortunately, I haven’t been seeing hardly any deer! So, the next 8 pt or bigger buck or doe that happens by my stand had better look out.
