Game Log: November 8 (morning) - Tripod Stand

Finally, saw deer - outside bow range.
Location: Tripod Stand
Temperature: Mid 30’s
Wind: SW 15-20++ mph
Time: 5:40 am to 9:30 am
Field Notes: 6:20 am, doe on S. side of field (150 yards). Came out for ten minutes and then went back in. 7:00 2 Turkey hens crossed field from South heading West at a trot. Came within 50 yards. Didn’t shoot because of distance and strong wind. 7:44 6 point buck crossed from North heading South (100 yards). Didn’t respond to grunt or care about decoy or scent.
Other Notes: 2 small bucks by front gate at 10:00 am.
