The Alpha Report Radio Show - Alpha Trilogy on the Radio
Posted by Darrell under: Alpha Report .
My wife tells me that I love to hear myself talk. I hope she’s right, because I’m as nervous as all get out about The Alpha Report.
The Alpha Report, my Radio show in planning, is taking me way outside my comfort zone. I don’t know anything about radio or producing a show. In fact, I don’t even like listening to my own voice (contrary to my wife’s opinion).
What is The Alpha Report? It will be my look at what is happening on the Internet (as it relates to the outdoors). Anything will be fair game. I will talk about interesting blog posts that are worth taking a look at, gear and equipment worth trying out (and available on the internet), ideas for marketing your outdoor blog, and anything else that strikes my fancy.
I’m working on my first episode right now and plan on shooting it off to Steve Remington(the Skinny Moose Media mogul himself), who will undoubtedly listen to it and see if it is worthy of a time slot on his radio empire.
I will warn you in advance that I don’t have a clue what I’m doing. Steve will likely regret having ever asked me to put together a radio show. Until he cancels it, I’ll do my best to find some interesting stuff to talk about and am already working on some ideas to make it interactive (even though it obviously won’t be live).
If anyone has any ideas, PLEASE don’t be shy in sending them my way.

I think this is a great idea Darrell. You’ll be terrific. You certainly have a passion for your subject, and that’s half the battle. Heck, when I did the interview with Tom, we talked for over an hour and the time just flew by.
If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

Maybe use the first episode as an introduction. Talk about who you are, what you do, where you’ve been, and what you like. This way people can get a feel for who you are.
Looking forward to giving it a listen!

Hey good luck Darrell. I agree with BNF that a good first show would be just introducing yourself and letting people get to know ya a little.
Looking forward to listening to the show.
