Ever Wonder Why Some Male Elk Have Such Long Antlers?

Maybe it’s part of their defense mechanism, too. If the antlers have an unpleasant odor predators might be less likely to go up against them. Haha!

Yeah! Let’s punish people for hunting! It’s not like humans are actually part of nature (although we often do overstep out bounds). Shouldn’t be a problem as long as we do it responsibly, which seems to be the case as hunting is well regulated by wildlife agencies throughout the country.

I am a hunter ! I believe there should be an open season on all anti-hunting groups. You all just don”t get the importace of hunting, My exsice taxes i pay on purchaces from licenses,ammonition.firearms have provided more habitat,than any other group combined. Besides P.E.T.A. has killed over 90% of the animals it supposidly saved.

My only opposition is trophy hunters and hunters who will kill an animal, cut off the head, and leave everything else. Please be respectful to the animal and USE EVERYTHING.

That, and don’t kill animals that are threatened (not endangered, but threatened) or important to keeping other animals populations down. this includes bears, wolves, and other predators. Deer breed like crazy, so whatever but really? A wolf?
