My Vision: Inspire People To Enjoy The Outdoors

Back on the 10th of July, I did a post about the importance of having Vision. In that same article, I readily admitted that I did not have a clear vision for my blog. And, without a Vision, I couldn’t have a Mission. I also promised to let you know when I had a Vision and Mission statement. I’m happy to announce both:
My Vision is To Inspire People To Enjoy The Outdoors
My Mission Is To Share My Hunting & Fishing Experiences
In marketing class you learn that your vision is where you are going and your mission is how you get there. I hope to inspire people to get off their behinds and get outside and enjoy themselves (hopefully, with a fishing pole, speargun, firearm, or bow in their hands). I hope to accomplish this inspiration by sharing my own experiences and encouraging my peers to do the same.
It is pretty simple, but I’m glad I finally got around to saying it!

Both of those sound pretty good to me. I also see you’ve absorbed the idea that your mission and vision statements don’t have to be all flowery sounding and contain lots of words. Yours are simple, direct and to the point.

I’d say you’ve had vision all along. Your posts fit right in with your vision!!! Mabe it just took a while to verbalize it. Great job!

we all call it differant things don’t we, for me its ‘the voice’ once i’ve found the voice i can ‘write’ untill then it’s just words on a screen - not ‘writing’. i like what you’re doing, and felt pleased when i saw you’d posted. good luck this season. bushwacker.
