Tom Remington, on his Black Bear Blog, posted a funny list of questions asked by tourist in Canada. Some of the questions are so sad their funny and others are just plain funny.
Cliff, at Hunting Sense, asks whether his “love of the outdoors is destined?” Cliff comes from a background of hunting and fishing that started while he was in the womb. Did the fact that his mother took him hunting while he was still in the womb influence his chosen path in life? My vote is yes.
There is an interesting article on the Field Notes blog about High Fence hunting and whether it should be regulated by the federal goverment along with a poll. I’d love to read some more comments on this issue.
Outdoor U gives a great tip for hauling game out of the woods in the Haulin’ The Load post. My kids might be irritated when they see me strappin’ a deer to one of their favorite winter toys, though.
Don’t forget that the chance to buy the dream tag of a lifetime exists over on Kevin Paulson’s Hunting Life site - a New Mexico Govenor’s Elk Tag! AND, as a huge bonus, if the purchase is arranged via Hunting Life, 10% of the purchase price goes directly towards conservation!
