There was a great editorial piece on the Hog Blog about Cabellas Trophy Properties, entitled Cabellas Trophy Properties….Bane to Outdoorsmen? The post is well written and echoes my sentiments. I’ve actually noticed Cabellas moving into the real estate market and I, too, welcome them. I, too, have noticed that the prices are ”good bit higher” than similar properties. My only question, after reading this post, is - How does someone with a blog entitled THE HOG BLOG learn words like “Bane”? It’s a good thing I’ve got a dictionary site bookmarked!
We need to all work together to get the word out about the Outdoor Blogger’s Summitt. Anyone with a blog should check out the Outdoor Blogger’s Site and then add a link to it in your blogroll. In today’s Thanks For Your Support post, they give some simple instructions for the link and promise a return link. How cool and SMART is that!
If you like to laugh, check out the Fishin’ and an Idaho Fish and Game Officer post over on the Idaho Fishin Times Blog. Warning, though, you’ll probably find yourself re-telling it to your buddies for a laugh.
Craig, over at Outdoor U, posted is part II in his Saving Tackle series. It’s a great tip, so if you, like all the rest of us, lose enough tackle to keep Johnny Morris perpetually smiling, check out Craig’s Saving Tackle II post.
