Wanted: More People to Share Their Outdoor Experiences & Wisdom – Anyone Can Apply

We have some great outdoor blogs. This has become even clearer to me as I’ve compiled my list of the BEST hunting, fishing, and outdoor sites. My opinion, though, is that we need more. More hunters, more fishermen, more people that love the outdoors, and more outdoor bloggers. As more people start sharing their experiences and ideas – there will be more demand for that information. More people will become interested and maybe, just maybe, more fathers (and mothers) will begin teaching their sons (and daughters) our lost art. I say “lost”, because if we don’t share our collective information, it will eventually be lost.
I’ve had several people mention to me that they share our passion and would love to have their own blog. They simply don’t have any idea on how to go about starting one. I’ve decided to add a post category to my blog etitled “Blogging About The Outdoors” and I’ll from time to time, put some ideas related to blogging. Hopefully, it will quell the fears of some potential bloggers and inspire them to join our fray! If I find or hear about ways to legitimately and unobtrusively generate income from my blog, I’ll share that, too. If you have any suggestions for a post, let me know. Future bloggers will thank you!
Before I began my blog, I was concerned about having enough to write about. Well, I can unequivocally say that that was an unfounded fear. I could write 24/7 and still have plenty to say. Who would have ever guessed I could be so long winded? Wow.

I think this is a great idea. If you are open to having other contributors to the Blogging About the Outdoors portion, I’d be interested. After all, most of what I do to make a living is writing. Plus, I’d like to see more women blogging about the outdoors and hunting/fishing etc.
Kudos to you on working to spread the word about outdoor blogging and how much fun it can be.

I would welcome your contributions to the blogging about the outdoors category. I, too, would like to see more women blogging about the outdoors. It might be an inspired project to begin a list of women’s outdoor blogs?
